Holiday Shipping Deadlines Coming Up Fast
The Postal Service says if you're planning to send Christmas packages to military personnel, first-class letters and priority mail to APO-FPO addresses with ZIP codes beginning with "093" should be sent by Dec. 6. The deadline for other military ZIP codes is Dec. 11.
Make sure all your packages are done properly using the appropiate materials for the job. Use boxes that have enough room for the item being shipped AND leave enough room for bubble wrap, packing peanuts, crumpled paper or whatever else will privide adequate protection for the journey.
If your shipping a heavier item by Priority Mail, check out the new flat rate boxes that ship anywhere regardless of weight or zone for $7.70. These are good for heavier items going a long distance.
